BCHPCA : BC Hospice Palliative Care Association

At BCHPCA our vision is that all people in BC and the Yukon have access to Quality End of Life Care.

Our Mission is to build capacity in our communities to support this vision.

Our members are physicians, nurses, counsellors, social workers, therapists, pharmacists, advocates, administrators, artists, hospice societies, health care units and volunteers, in short, people who provide a broad range of services to patients, families, caregivers and communities.

FULL CIRCLE is our way of keeping both our members and the general public informed and we are excited to launch this issue in a new format that combines the latest news with our 2010 Annual Report.

Look for the human interest stories such as the one about 42 year old Mark Smith of Armstrong BC – for the latest developments within our membership across the province – and a variety of articles featuring such items as the dilemma of caregivers in end of life care.
